Medix informs users of its website about its personal data protection policy. The use of the Medix website and any of its services implies full acceptance of the terms outlined in the privacy policy presented here.

In compliance with Law 15/1999, of December 13, on the Protection of Personal Data, it is informed that the personal data requested in our forms will be included in a personal data file, for which Medix is the responsible owner. When a person fills out any of the forms with the requested personal data and accepts the submission, they expressly authorize Medix to process or include the provided personal data in the automated file owned by Medix, as well as all data generated in relation to their participation or use of the different events offered on this website.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, it is considered necessary to fill out all the fields in each form. The user must provide true, accurate, complete, and updated data. The user will be solely responsible for any damage or harm, direct or indirect, caused to Medix or any third party for filling out the forms with false, inaccurate, incomplete, outdated data, or data of third parties. Through the different areas of this website, users can obtain information, make inquiries, and participate in various events offered by Medix.

Purpose of Processing
The provided data will never be used for any purpose other than the one for which it was given, and it will be deleted immediately once it is no longer necessary for that purpose, unless the law states otherwise.

When the interested person submits their personal data and email address to Medix, they expressly authorize its use for periodic communications, including emails that Medix or entities belonging to the Medix business sphere may send to users and potential interested parties to inform them about news, events, etc.

Apart from what has been said above, the collection and automated processing of personal data also aims at administrative management and the execution and development of all professional activities related to Medix, as well as user management for the different services made available (for purely informational purposes: requests for information about events).

All personal data received by Medix is treated with the utmost confidentiality, and communications are made only when necessary for the provision of the requested service and for communications and transfers authorized by the user through this privacy policy.

Medix has adopted the required legal levels of personal data protection security and has implemented the necessary technical measures to prevent the loss, misuse, alteration of personal data provided, and unauthorized access to this data.

The user has the right to access their personal data collected in Medix’s files, to correct it if incorrect, to cancel it, or to oppose its processing, via email at mergusa@mergusa.com.

Data Transfer
The user agrees that their data may be transferred exclusively for the purposes described above to entities with which Medix collaborates. The user’s acceptance that their data may be processed or transferred as established in this paragraph is always revocable, with no retroactive effects, in accordance with Articles 6 and 11 of Organic Law 15/1999, of December 13.

Medix reserves the right to modify its data protection policy at its discretion, or due to legislative, jurisprudential, or business practice changes. If Medix makes any modifications, the new text will be published on this page, where the user can review the updated data protection policy. In any case, the relationship with users will be governed by the rules in effect at the time they access the website.
